The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) consists of a series of activities across Europe promoting secure, clean and efficient energy. The theme for EUSEW 2025 will be ‘Powering a fair and competitive green transition’.
For 2025, the Sustainable Energy Days initiative has been launched. These are events and activities held globally to promote clean energy and energy efficiency. The Sustainable Energy Days will take place between March and June 2025, exploring a variety of topics in sessions of different formats and durations. Anyone can organise a Sustainable Energy Day, and it can target any audience as long as the activity clearly highlights the importance of clean energy and energy efficiency and aligns with the EUSEW theme: Powering a fair and competitive green transition. A Sustainable Energy Day can be organised by educational institutions, public bodies, energy agencies, trade or industry organisations, businesses, NGOs, EU project partners, associations or networks, or citizens.
One of the six priority areas of the HSE Climate Action Strategy is “Sustainable Buildings and the Green Environment” which includes actions on energy efficiency and renewable energy. There are links and resources in this area, go to the calendar homepage and select priority area “Sustainable Buildings and the Green Environment” – the links are then listed below the calendar for that priority area.
