The HSE Excellence Awards showcases and celebrates examples of the great work that happens every day across the health service.

Since 2024, there is a ‘green’ category: ‘Working together for a greener health service. Applicants will be asked to show how their project demonstrates teamwork and collaboration to ensure we are providing a more sustainable health service.’

Timeline: The awards usually launch in June and stay open until mid July. Applicants are shortlisted and notified in October, with the awards event in November.
